Michaels in Toronto's Etobicoke location seeks a Store Manager to lead a team, drive the customer experience, and deliver store KPIs within budget. You will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and ensuring SOP adherence across all departments.

The role emphasizes leadership, brand promises, shrink and safety programs, and cross-training. Expect nights, weekends, and early mornings in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail management leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, including adherence to SOPs and company programs; ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Deliver sales plan/profit plan and KPIs; manage the store team to achieve role KPIs.
• Lead the execution of customer brand promises.
• Implement and lead shrink and safety programs to deliver goals.
• Hire, train, observe and coach the team; manage performance and, if necessary, disciplinary actions; develop talent for advancement.
• Interact professionally and positively, modeling the company vision and values.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Maintain operational understanding of all store departments; cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
