Job summary

DHL Express currently has an opening for a Part Time Retail Store Customer Service position in our Edmonton, AB retail location at 4410 17 St NW. The role involves helping customers at the retail counter with shipping inquiries and picking up freight, plus other inquiries.

Shift: Monday 15:00–19:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00, Sunday 11:00–17:01. Wage: $23.38/hour and will increase as per the CBA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Physical Inspection Certificate required.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs.
• Criminal and background checks required.
• Experience with DHL operations systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally at the retail counter.
• Assist customers with product selection and shipping inquiries.
• Respond to inquiries regarding products, pricing, promotions.
• Process shipments and ensure accurate scanning.
• Maintain uniform and represent DHL professionally.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

• Greet customers professionally and create a welcoming environment
• Assist customers with product selection based on their needs and preferences
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and promotions
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
• Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business
• Representing DHL (Uniform and Tidiness)
• Accurate scanning and inspection of outbound shipments
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry parcels, up to and including 70 lbs per piece, throughout shift
• Physical Inspection Certificate Required
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and on-time within tight time constraints
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Meet security requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the DHL operations system
• High School Diploma
