Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health System (SJHS) Retail Gift Shop in Hamilton, ON, seeks a part-time Retail Shift Supervisor to cover afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The in-person role reports to the Retail Site Manager and ensures smooth store operations with exceptional customer service to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Provide accurate and efficient service at cash and comply with procedures for daily balancing of the Point of Sale System.
• Restocking in order to drive sale ensure prices are correct and signage is appropriate and in good condition.
• Participate in planning and executing of store set-up assists with preparation and count of the yearend inventory.
• Supervise and guide volunteers assign tasks and distribute their daily work.
• All other duties as assigned.
