Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Winnipeg, MB seeks a Retail Shift Supervisor to lead the Cash/Customer Service department and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will supervise the team, delegate tasks, train staff on SOPs, and maintain standards while delivering outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a sales environment, open availability for store hours, and a strong knowledge of our products.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervisory experience in sales or service.
• Open availability, including store openings, closings, and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed expectations.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership to department staff in partnership with the manager.
• Delegate tasks and directions to team members and monitor execution.
• Foster growth and development through training SOPs and processes.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and report violations to the manager.
• Perform administrative tasks related to the department.
• Deliver legendary customer service by analyzing needs and recommending products.
• Promote company programs to staff and customers.
• Maintain in-store visual standards and restock and remerchandise as needed.
• Address customer issues with good judgment and resolve problems within scope.
• Assist in other store areas when business needs dictate.
