Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Saskatoon is seeking a Retail Outfitter to join a team that delivers legendary customer service and exceptional product knowledge to every guest.

You will assist customers in selecting items, answer questions, promote promotions, and maintain visual standards on the sales floor.

A passion for the outdoors and willingness to help across store areas will support a dynamic, fun work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovery/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
