Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a Sales Supervisor to lead a store team, drive sales and uphold store standards. You will guide associates in customer-focused solutions and maintain operations as a keyholder, including opening and closing the store and administering daily tasks.

The role requires 3+ years in retail with supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while promoting health, safety and loss prevention programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail sales experience
• 1-2 years in a supervisory role with direct accountability for sales targets
• Strong communication skills to inspire customers and associates
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization and multi-tasking

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to provide exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and maintain store standards.
• Act as a keyholder, support programs and training throughout the store.
• Model and coach our selling approach and motivate associates to achieve high performance.
• Supervise health & safety, loss prevention, and store policies.
• Conduct training and development for associates.
• Handle opening/closing of the store and timekeeping duties.
