Job summary

Woodntassel Furniture is seeking a Sales Associate for The Shops at Morgan Crossing, South Surrey, BC. This full-time role focuses on guiding customers through their purchasing journey, supporting store operations, and creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.

You will engage customers, recommend furniture and décor, and drive sales while maintaining showroom standards and assisting with stock and displays. A 3–4 year retail background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of retail sales and customer service experience.
• Experience in furniture or home décor is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and personable Sales Associate to join our team at The Shops at Morgan Crossing in South Surrey. In this full-time role, you will be guiding customers through their purchasing journey, supporting daily store operations, and helping create a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back.

What You Will Do

• Greet and engage customers, building genuine rapport and understanding their needs
• Guide customers through furniture and décor selections to find the perfect fit for their home
• Drive sales and meet personal and store targets through outstanding service
• Support the opening, closing, and day-to-day operations of the store
• Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the showroom floor
• Assist with stock, merchandising, and product displays
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience

What You Bring

• 3–4 years of retail sales and customer service experience (furniture or home décor an asset)
• A natural ability to connect with customers and build lasting relationships
• A polished, professional presentation and positive attitude
• Strong communication skills and confidence on the sales floor
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs as required

Compensation

$19.00/hour base wage + commission on sales
