Job summary

Staples Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales across furniture, technology and supplies in Winkler, MB. You will engage customers, assist with product recommendations, and process transactions at the POS to convert shoppers into satisfied buyers.

You will maintain a clean, safe store environment, follow merchandising standards, and collaborate with teammates to meet sales and margin goals. Staples Inc.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.

• Set and achieve sales and margin goals with store leaders.
• Ensure operational excellence and uphold store brand standards.
• Support all merchandising and signage standards including planograms and stocking.
• Maintain Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and Privacy Policies.
