Job summary

Samsonite International S.A. in Calgary is looking for a Store Associate to assist the Store Manager in daily retail operations and to drive sales with strong customer service, while upholding brand standards to create a positive shopping experience.

You will support sales goals, help train staff, protect company assets, and work as a team to grow the store and brand, explaining merchandise to customers and processing transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with operating the retail store.
• Support an environment that drive sales by having strong customer service skills.
• Consistently deliver brand enhancing store standards that create a positive customer experience.
• Support store achievement of established sales and profit plan.
• Assist Store Manager with the training/coaching of store staff.
• Protect company assets and control inventory shrinkage.
• Utilize skills as a team player to help grow the store, the brand, and continuously provide constructive and positive feedback to one another.
• Possess an ability to drive sales by understanding/explaining merchandise to the customer.
• Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency at point of sale.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability.
