Samsonite Calgary store seeks a motivated retail teammate to support daily operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will assist the Store Manager, answer questions about merchandise, ring up sales at the POS, and help manage inventory with accuracy.

Ideal candidates bring strong selling skills, a professional image, and reliable work ethics. This role requires flexibility, weekend availability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to stand, move around the store, lift up to 35 pounds and use a ladder.
• 1 year previous retail management experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist the Store Manager with the following aspects of operating a retail store.
• Support an environment that Drive sales by having strong customer service skills.
• Consistently deliver brand enhancing store standards that create a positive customer experience.
• Support store achievement of established sales and profit plan.
• Assist Store Manager with the training/coaching of store staff.
• Protect company assets and control inventory shrinkage.
• Utilize skills as a team player to help grow the store, the brand, and continuously provide constructive and positive feedback to one another.
• Possess an ability to drive sales by understanding/explaining merchandise to the customer.
• Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency at point of sale.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability.
