Job summary

ARS Responds Canada in Toronto seeks a Project Manager to lead restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes and an exceptional client experience.

The role requires 5–7 years in restoration or construction, proficiency in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, MS Office and MS Project, and IICRC WRT/FSRT certifications. Travel may be required; strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in restoration or construction
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Xactimate, and XactAnalysis
• IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT) highly preferred; additional Odor/Applied Structural Drying/Applied Microbial Remediation are assets
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor team members
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical documentation
• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Entrepreneurial mindset, resourceful and proactive
• Willingness to travel periodically; valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Oversee restoration projects from scoping to completion
• Manage budgets, costings, and target margins
• Coordinate resources and scheduling
• Communicate with clients and adjusters, set realistic timelines
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Ensure compliance with contracts and company policies
• Provide updates and reporting on project status
• Support health and safety policies and practices
• Balance multiple projects and priorities
