Job summary

Subway is seeking a Restaurant Manager for our Kitchener, Ontario location. You will oversee daily operations, develop budgets, schedule staff, and ensure health and safety standards are maintained to deliver excellent guest experiences.

The role requires a College/CEGEP and strong communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities. It is a permanent full-time position starting as soon as possible, with a 30-hour work week at $37.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a restaurant or similar food-service operation.
• Proven ability to plan budgets and control costs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Set staff work schedules.
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Provide customer service.
