Job description

Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this iconic Whistler restaurant is a destination unto itself—where globally inspired cuisine meets alpine elegance, and every detail of the guest experience is meticulously crafted. Backed by one of Canada’s most prestigious hospitality groups, this award-winning venue is known for its exceptional service, dynamic culinary program, and refined yet welcoming atmosphere.

They are now seeking a Restaurant Manager who is equal parts gracious host, sharp operator, and inspiring leader. This is an opportunity to take the helm of a world-class front-of-house team in a restaurant that consistently ranks among the best in the country. As Restaurant Manager, you will be the curator of an unforgettable dining experience—from the moment guests arrive to the final touch of hospitality. You’ll lead a passionate service team that thrives on excellence and camaraderie, partnering with an acclaimed culinary team to deliver a seamless, high-touch service standard. Whether hosting a global traveler or a local loyalist, you’ll ensure each guest encounter reflects warmth, precision, and the restaurant’s signature approach to hospitality.

Description

  • Champion a service culture rooted in hospitality, attentiveness, and excellence
  • Lead, coach, and develop a strong FOH team, fostering growth and accountability
  • Partner closely with the Executive Chef and senior leadership to coordinate service strategy, timing, and flow
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day floor operations, including guest relations, VIP service, and pacing
  • Analyze sales trends, guest feedback, and service metrics to elevate performance
  • Manage team scheduling, payroll, inventory, and COGs in alignment with financial goals
  • Actively contribute to wine and beverage program development, staff training, and seasonal menu launches
  • Serve as an ambassador for the restaurant within the broader Whistler community

Requirements

  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a fine dining or premium casual environment
  • A natural sense of hospitality and deep understanding of guest-centered service
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams
  • Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and culinary trends with a desire to continuously learn
  • Strong business acumen and operational oversight skills
  • A poised, professional presence and genuine love for creating memorable moments
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment that demands precision and grace

Corporate Culture

  • A competitive salary reflective of your experience and leadership
  • Extended medical and dental benefits
  • Dining privileges and incentives
  • A collaborative, supportive culture within a nationally recognized hospitality group
  • The chance to live and work in one of the most beautiful resort destinations in the world

If you’re ready to lead with passion, elevate every interaction, and contribute to a legacy of excellence, this is your opportunity to join an elite team at one of Whistler’s most celebrated restaurants.
