Job summary

The Burger in Toronto is seeking an energetic manager to train and coach the team to deliver ABSOLUTE service and to set clear expectations, following up with staff regularly. You will open and close the restaurant independently (key holder), reconcile cash deposits, place orders, and manage inventory while addressing guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.

You’ll also interview, hire, and build a strong team and understand food costing.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience leading a team
• Food Handler Certification or willingness to certify
• Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Train and coach the team to provide ABSOLUTE service
• Set clear expectations and follow up with your team on a regular basis
• Take direction and feedback from the Senior Management team
• Open and close the restaurant independently (key holder)
• Reconcile cash deposits
• Place orders and perform inventory counts
• Address customer concerns ensuring that each guest leaves satisfied
• Able to attract, interview and hire employees and build a strong team
• Understand food costing
• Accurately schedule employees while achieving labour targets
