Job summary

The Burger in Guelph, Ontario is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to lead daily operations and coach the front‑of‑house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will open and close the restaurant, manage shifts, reconcile cash deposits, place orders and monitor inventory while keeping a fast‑paced environment organized and friendly. A Food Handler certification is preferred, and there are growth opportunities within our Canadian brand family.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience leading a team.
• Friendly and enthusiastic about everything you do.
• Passionate about food and providing great guest experiences.
• Food Handler Certification or willingness to certify.
• Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently as needed.
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Well organized with ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and in a hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach the team to provide “ABSOLUTE” service
• Set clear expectations and follow up with your team regularly
• Take direction and feedback from the Senior Management team
• Open and close the restaurant independently (key holder)
• Reconcile cash deposits
• Place orders and perform inventory counts
• Address customer concerns ensuring that each guest leaves satisfied
