The Burger’s Priest is hiring a General Manager at our Toronto location. You will lead a focused team, manage daily operations, and maintain high standards for guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

We seek candidates with 2–3 years of leadership experience, a passion for food, and a proactive approach to staffing, cost control, and customer satisfaction. Flexible shifts, including evenings and holidays, are required.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience leading a team.
• Strong customer service orientation and hospitality focus.
• Familiarity with cash handling, inventory and scheduling.
• Ability to manage food costs and understand P&L implications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to obtain Food Handler Certification if not already certified.

The Burger’s Priest is hiring a General Manager at our Toronto location!

What You Will Do In This Role

• Train and coach the team below you to provide “ABSOLUTE” service
• Set clear expectations and follow up with your team on a regular basis
• Take direction and feedback from the Senior Management team
• Open and close the restaurant independently (key holder)
• Reconcile cash deposits
• Place orders and perform inventory counts
• Address customer concerns ensuring that each guest leaves satisfied
• Able to attract, interview and hire employees and build a strong team
• Understand food costing
• Can accurately schedule employees while achieving labour targets
• Responsible for P&L results
  
  

What We Are Looking For From You

• Minimum two - three years’ experience leading a team
• Friendly and enthusiastic about everything you do
• Passionate about food and providing only the best guest experiences
• Food Handler Certified or willing to certify
• Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently as needed
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Well organized with the ability to multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a hot environment
