Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager at our Alberta Hanna location. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring guests have an excellent experience while maintaining food quality and safety standards. You will manage inventory, scheduling, and staff supervision, and collaborate on promotions and events.

You will also assist with ordering, training, and ensuring safety protocols. This role offers full-time or part-time shifts, varying by location, with wage at or near minimum wage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Computer knowledge is desirable.
• Ability to lift 10–30 pounds and work in all restaurant areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work.
• Assist in planning events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful.
• Assist with product ordering and inventory as needed.
