Job summary

VON Canada is seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker to provide in-home, person-centred care across client homes in Ontario. You will support daily living, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping while contributing to individualized care plans.

Applicants should hold a PSW/DSW certification and a current First Aid/CPR certificate, with a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle. This role includes travel between client homes and flexible daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

About the role:

As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you'll use your training to provide person-centred care, support daily living, and help clients stay comfortable and independent in their own homes. You'll travel between clients' homes throughout the day, making every visit matter. Bring your skills to where they're needed most!

What you'll do:

• Provide care to clients in the comfort of their own homes
• Help develop the client's care plan

What we are looking for:

• Personal Support Worker or Developmental Services Worker certification
• Nursing students who have completed first year of RPN or BScN or internationally educated nurses are eligible to apply
• Must have a current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate, if applicable to the work being performed
• Must enjoy driving, have a personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
• A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
