Job summary

New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) is seeking candidates for an Instructor, Respiratory Therapy to support NBCC campuses. You will plan and deliver courses, supervise clinical rotations, and integrate labs and simulations to advance student learning.

The role requires a two-year diploma or BHS in Respiratory Therapy, registration with NB Association, immunization and background checks, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma from CMA or CoARTE accredited respiratory therapy program, or a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Respiratory Therapy) degree, or equivalent.
• Must be a registered respiratory therapist, licensed with the New Brunswick Association of Respiratory Therapists.
• Provide proof of immunization and vulnerable sector screening.
• Flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare instructional materials; establish a positive learning environment; instruct and evaluate students.
• Teach students in labs, simulated clinical and actual clinical settings; supervise off-site clinical rotations.
• Integrate technology and active learning techniques into teaching practices.
