Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc.’s Fernie Alpine Resort is hiring for a Server and Host. The role requires a dynamic, organized individual with excellent communication, capable of upselling and delivering a safe, friendly guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will open/close shifts, follow restaurant systems, maintain cleanliness, and work as part of a engaged team. Perks include an RCR mountain pass, employee events, and staff discounts on lodging, dining, and more.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required.
• Food Safe Certificate is an asset.
• Serving it Right certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff.
• Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity.
• Open/Close with side duties as per the restaurant systems.
• Practice approved food handling procedures and ongoing cleanliness.
• Provide non-stop teamwork with your teammates and managers.
• Sell the Resort image and promotions to all guests.
• Know and adhere to the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook.
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program.
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs.
• Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable.

Fernie Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of Server and Host, at one of Fernie Alpine Resort's outlets. We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized candidate with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset.

The ideal candidate will be energetic and adaptable, with a keen willingness to learn new skills. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible in their approach to work. You Will

You Have

• Competitive wage: $18.25 - 20.85/hour
