Manning Park Resort, Inc. is seeking a friendly F&B Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team at Manning Park, BC.

Start date from November, with staff housing available as part of the package, and opportunities to work in Pinewoods, Bears Den, Snack Window, and Banquets. Greet guests, take orders, answer dietary questions, and upsell specials while delivering excellent service in a mountain resort setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work across F&B areas including Pinewoods, Bears Den.
• Knowledge of industry trends and food knowledge.
• Experience serving alcohol is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Greet and guide customers to their tables promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting guests with their needs and addressing concerns quickly.
• Take and prepare food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to menu and dietary questions with knowledge and care.
• Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
• Prepare food, drinks, and cocktails as required, including promoting specials and upselling items.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels, informing the supervisor of frequently requested but unavailable items.
• Ensure balanced cash floats at the end of each shift.
• Clean and sanitize eating, service, and bar areas according to health and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all working areas, including banquets.
• Assist in setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.
• Adapt to different roles and responsibilities as required to meet the needs of the resort and its guests.
• Other tasks as required within MPR

We are presently looking for our next great team member as an F&B Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you!

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

• * Previous experience preferred.
• * Must be 19 years of age or older (legal requirement to serve alcohol).
• * Possess or willingness to acquire Serving It Right certification (legal requirement to serve alcohol).
• * Organization and problem-solving skills
• * Outgoing personality
• * Knowledge of up-coming trends in the industry and food knowledge
• * Knowledge of POS systems is an asset.
• * Experience serving alcohol is an asset.
• * Willingness and ability to work in various areas of Manning Park Resort's F&B operations, including Pinewoods, Bears Den, Snack Window, and Banquets.

This is a year-round position with a start date from November.
