Job summary

RCR in Alberta is seeking energetic individuals for winter seasonal kitchen roles. You will help prepare, cook, and plate meals while ensuring food safety and high-quality service for guests during peak season.

Benefits include staff season passes, seasonal accident insurance, and discounts across resort amenities. Flexibility is required, including weekends and holidays, with the option to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of kitchen experience.
• Must hold Safe Serve or other food handling certification.
• Physically capable of lifting to 30lbs and standing for prolonged periods.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a friendly atmosphere for guests and staff, maximizing quality of service.
• Prepare, cook, and plate food to established quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure that food is received, stored, handled, and prepared in a hygienic and safe manner.
• Assist with inventory counting as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with all teammates.
• Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring high levels of cleanliness, safety and proper storage.
• Participate in orientation, team meetings, and end-of-season cleaning procedures.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

You will:

You:

• Have a love of and passion for food and cooking.
• 2 years previous kitchen experience
• Are physically capable of lifting to 30lbs and performing manuallabor, standing for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends andholidays.
• Hold a Safe Serve or other food handling certification.
