First National Financial invites applications for a Manager and Team Lead, Third Party Residential Underwriting - BMBE. You will lead a team of Mortgage Underwriters and Funders, ensuring adherence to underwriting policies while delivering service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years mortgage underwriting experience required.
• 2+ years people management experience.
• Completion of Mortgage Agent Course and/or FSCO License an asset.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information and make confident decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Mortgage Underwriters and Associate Mortgage Underwriters.
• Make lending decisions within policy guidelines.
• Build relationships with mortgage brokers and external partners.
• Provide management reporting and performance reviews.
• Ensure AML/compliance adherence where applicable.
• Recruit and onboard new team members.
