Qualifications

• Requires a valid Rental Property Management licence under the BCFSA.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Real Estate, Urban Land, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience managing residential rental portfolios and delivering customer service.
• Strong knowledge of tenancy acts and property financials.
• Hands-on budgeting, financial analysis, problem solving, and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to ensure buildings and suites are maintained, cost-effective, and compliant with regulations.
• Directly manage operating costs, service contracts, work orders, renovations, and capital projects.
• Implement leasing strategies, marketing efforts, promotions, and advertising to reduce vacancy.
• Respond to tenant issues, coordinate surveys/events, and take timely action.
• Oversee rent increases, collections, arrears, invoices, and property financials.
• Prepare operating and capital budgets and monthly/quarterly investor reports.
• Support redevelopment projects and new development stabilization.
• Support policy adherence, tenant services, emergency response, and team leadership.
