Job summary

Royal York Property Management in Ontario is seeking a Leasing Specialist to help lease homes within our portfolio of managed residential rentals. This field-based role requires meeting prospective renters, presenting property details, and guiding applicants through the leasing process.

You will also act as an important connection between field activity and internal teams by sharing feedback on applicant interest, property presentation, rental expectations, and factors affecting vacancy.

Qualifications

1–3 years of leasing or customer-facing sales experience.
Comfortable meeting renters in person and leading conversations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

Attend leasing appointments at available properties within your assigned area.
Represent Royal York professionally when meeting prospective renters.
Learn the key details of each available home and communicate them clearly during appointments.
Understand applicant needs and match them with properties.
Follow up with prospects after appointments and move them toward application or offer.
Document appointment results and renter feedback accurately.
Share market insights with internal teams to optimize vacancy management.
