Job summary

Royal York Property Management is seeking a licensed Real Estate Agent to oversee marketing and leasing for our residential rental portfolio in Ontario. This field-based, on-call role requires generating tenant leads, showing properties, handling offers, and coordinating with internal teams to move listings from vacancy to lease.

Qualifications

• Active Ontario real estate registration in good standing is required.
• 3+ years of professional real estate experience is required.
• 5+ years of experience is preferred.
• Strong background in residential real estate with rental or leasing experience an asset.
• Hands-on experience creating and managing MLS listings.
• Strong understanding of the Ontario residential rental market.
• Proven ability to generate leads and develop tenant pipelines.
• Strong sales, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing abilities.
• Comfortable managing rental offers and transaction documentation.
• Reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Create, publish, and maintain rental listings on MLS.
• Ensure listing information is accurate and professionally presented.
• Market available properties through MLS, rental platforms, social media, and networks.
• Generate new tenant leads and maintain a pipeline of prospective renters.
• Respond to inquiries and qualify prospective tenants.
• Schedule and conduct in-person property showings.
• Present properties effectively based on prospect needs.
• Follow up with prospects and convert opportunities into offers.
• Handle objections and questions about terms, pricing, and availability.
• Prepare, receive, and coordinate rental offers and documentation.
• Communicate with cooperating agents regarding listings and transactions.
• Monitor activity, showings, and market response.
• Identify underperforming listings and suggest changes.
• Provide market intelligence to internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of listings, leads, appointments, offers, and activity.
• Coordinate with property management and leasing teams throughout the transaction.
• Ensure all activities comply with Ontario requirements and company procedures.
