Job summary

NDura Developments in Edmonton is seeking a reliable Site Assistant to support site superintendents across residential infill and multi-family projects. This is a local, full-time, site-based role based in Edmonton or surrounding area.

You will assist with daily site operations, materials, trade coordination, documentation, quality control, and general site support, while maintaining safe, organized sites and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of residential construction, home building, or related field experience preferred.
• Understanding of the residential construction project lifecycle.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and other construction tools.
• Familiarity with residential building methods and active construction sites.
• Basic ability to understand construction drawings and schedules.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently when required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically capable of performing construction site duties.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• English proficiency, spoken and written.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Superintendent with daily site coordination and operations.
• Support projects from site preparation through completion and turnover.
• Maintain clean, organized, secure, and safe construction sites.
• Operate various construction tools safely and effectively.
• Receive, organize, and track tools, materials, equipment, and deliveries.
• Assist with general labour, material movement, site setup, and cleanup.
• Support subcontractor, supplier, delivery, and trade coordination.
• Communicate professionally with trades, suppliers, inspectors, and site visitors.
• Assist with scheduling and follow up on outstanding site items.
• Identify site issues and propose practical solutions to the Site Superintendent.
• Assist with quality control, deficiency tracking, punch lists, and final inspections.
• Complete site documentation, photographs, checklists, and daily logs.
• Help maintain accurate JobTread records and project information.
• Follow company safety procedures and report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain proper care and storage of company tools, materials, and equipment.
