Job summary

Pier 4 Ltd. in London, Ontario is seeking a Carpentry Skilled Maintenance Technician to renovate and maintain residential communities. You will read drawings, perform unit turnovers, install flooring, and collaborate with maintenance teams to deliver high-quality workmanship.

The role is on-site, with a full-time schedule, five days a week at our London location. Applicants should have at least 5 years of carpentry experience, a valid Ontario G license, and be able to pass a criminal background

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of carpentry, renovation, or residential maintenance experience.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience in residential property management is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a reliable vehicle and tools.
• Complete unit turnovers, renovations and repairs to company standards.
• Read drawings and scopes of work to execute carpentry tasks.
• Construct and install walls, flooring, doors, cabinetry, trim.
• Install flooring (vinyl/LVT) and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Inspect and replace damaged components and perform preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and external trades safely.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe work environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
