Job description

Do you love helping people, keeping things organized, and making someone's day just a little bit easier? We’re looking for a Resident Services Coordinator who’s part problem-solver, part people-person, and 100% dedicated to creating a great living experience for our Residents.

In this role, you'll be the friendly face (and voice!) that Residents turn to when they need a hand—whether it's coordinating services, answering questions, or making sure the little details are taken care of. If you're the type who color-codes your calendar, remembers names like a champ, and believes a smile can go a long way, we’d love to meet you!

About The Role

The Resident Services Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a positive and welcoming living environment for Residents. This position serves as the primary point of contact for Resident relations, ensuring excellent customer service, organizing community engagement initiatives, and assisting with administrative and leasing support.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Relations & Customer Service

  • Act as the primary contact for Resident inquiries, concerns, and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Foster strong relationships with Residents by providing exceptional customer service and proactive communication.
  • Assist in move-in and move-out processes, ensuring a smooth transition for Residents.
  • Coordinate and distribute Resident communications, including notices, newsletters, and building updates.

Community Engagement & Events

  • Plan and execute Resident events and engagement programs to build a strong sense of community.
  • Gather Resident feedback through surveys and informal interactions to enhance satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with vendors and local businesses to create partnerships that benefit Residents.

Building Operations & Administrative Support

  • Assist with leasing inquiries, unit showings, and application processing when required.
  • Maintain accurate Resident records, lease files, and service request documentation.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests with the building’s maintenance team and follow up with Residents.
  • Support the Property Manager with administrative tasks such as rent collection reminders and compliance tracking.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in customer service, property management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for building positive relationships.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar).
  • Knowledge of residential tenancy laws and rental policies (an asset).
  • Ability to work some evenings or weekends for resident events as needed.

Why Join Us?

At Chard Property Group, we believe our team members are the heartbeat of our community. We prioritize exceptional customer service and fostering a sense of belonging among Residents and team members alike. Join us and enjoy competitive salaries, performance bonuses, and comprehensive health benefits that support both your personal and professional growth. With opportunities for promotion and a commitment to nurturing talent, you'll thrive in an environment where building lasting relationships and enhancing community living are at the core of everything we do.

Compensation

  • Salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 dependent on experience
  • Extended health and dental benefits as well as HSA, AD&D, Life, LTD and STD insurance
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Parking on-site is included for this role
