Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a part-time Activity Coordinator to plan, implement, and continuously improve activation programs for residents. You will assess needs, lead group activities, and coordinate with nursing staff to support engagement and wellbeing.

Based in our Alberta facilities, you will prepare spaces, transport residents, and ensure accurate records while staying collaborative with an interdisciplinary team. We value compassionate, inclusive care and upbeat engagement for every resident.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, develop, and revise activation programs based on assessed needs under the guidance of the manager.
• Set up and transport residents to and from programs.
• Monitor the behavior and condition of residents during programs and report changes to staff.
• Maintain program and resident records according to policy.
• Work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team.
