Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Resident Experience Manager to lead development and delivery of programs addressing six dimensions of wellness and to create a vibrant, inclusive home for residents. You will collaborate with internal teams and the community to engage residents and deliver personalized concierge services.

You will supervise staff, manage scheduling and budgets, and promote engagement through events and partnerships while upholding safety and high service standards

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in recreation, gerontology, hospitality, social work, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in life enrichment, community engagement, or program development.
  • Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills; ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience supervising teams and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with social media tools.
  • First Aid certification and willingness to obtain a bus license if required.
  • Valid Driver’s License, or reliable means of transportation.

You’ll work collaboratively with internal teams and the community to create a vibrant, inclusive environment where residents feel engaged, supported, and truly at home.

Additional Requirements
  • Must be available for occasional evening and weekend shifts
  • Some travel and physical activity (e.g. lifting, standing) required
  • Comfort using AI and other digital platform systems and tools to support daily work
  • Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
