Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Guest Attendant to provide compassionate personal care and support to residents, helping them live comfortably, safely, and with dignity in our welcoming communities.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, laundry, and light housekeeping, follow individual care plans, and report any concerns to the Health and Wellness Manager. A commitment to high hygiene and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services.
• Secondary school education; post-secondary training in a care field preferred.
• Ability to read, follow, and communicate instructions effectively.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors’ needs.
• Maintain high hygiene standards, work safely with equipment, and manage time well.

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items
