Job summary

Sienna Senior Living invites applications for a Full Time Resident Engagement Manager at Aspira Lincoln Park Retirement Living in the Niagara region. This role spearheads resident well-being, program development, and volunteer initiatives while managing budgets and staff in a values-driven culture.

The candidate will lead efforts to foster belonging, coordinate community events, and collaborate with local partners to enhance resident life.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in aging and wellness or related field.
• Experience developing programs for seniors (1+ year).
• 1+ year in a management or supervisory role.
• Certified or able to become certified to teach senior fitness classes within 60 days.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; willing to obtain class license if required.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Smart Serve/Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Proficiency with Word/Publisher/PowerPoint/Excel; familiarity with Zoom/Teams.

Responsibilities

• Enhance resident well-being and participation in community life.
• Evaluate and improve engagement programs for residents.
• Ensure team development and mandatory training compliance.
• Lead welcoming program for new residents and promote belonging.
• Build partnerships with local vendors and contractors.
• Document discussions in town halls and resident council meetings.
• Create monthly event schedules and resident newsletters.
• Develop programs aligned with brand standards and guidelines.
• Grow a dynamic volunteer program, including internships.
