Job summary

Arnprior Regional Health in Ontario is seeking Personal Support Workers to join the Nursing (Long Term Care) team. You will provide resident-centered care aligned with a plan of care addressing physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs in our rural community setting.

Responsibilities include delivering consistent care in collaboration with a diverse care team, adhering to HEART values, following written and verbal instructions, and supporting Residents’ Rights at all times.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized PSW program meeting MOHLTC standards.
• Familiarity with GPA and BSO.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to understand, interpret and carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to set priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrates HEART values: Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect & Teamwork.
• Respect Residents Bill of Rights while delivering care.
