Job summary

Responsive Group, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Ontario to provide resident-centered care in long‑term care settings. The role supports daily routines, dignity, comfort and meaningful moments for residents, reporting to the Home Area Lead.

The wage starts at CAD 25.86/hour with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth. A valid PSW certification and IPAC/record-keeping proficiency are required to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• PSW Certification (600+ hours) required.
• Ontario PSW program certification preferred.
• Experience with person-centered care and IPAC practices.
• Ability to document accurately in electronic records (ADLs, mood, nutrition).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and ADLs.
• Support meals, mobility, transfers and bathing.
• Promote residents’ dignity, privacy and autonomy.
• Follow care plans and report changes to the clinical lead.
• Maintain safe, clean resident environment and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing/restorative team to achieve care goals.
