Job summary

Banff Lodging Co. in Banff, Canada seeks a Reservations Sales Agent to be the first point of contact for guests planning their Banff getaway. You’ll use your knowledge of BCP’s hotels, packages, products and services to help guests find the perfect stay and convert enquiries into bookings.

You’ll communicate with guests, travel agents and FIT partners by phone and email, providing knowledgeable, friendly and personalised service throughout the booking process.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest and travel partner enquiries by phone and email in a professional and engaging manner.
• Build rapport, understand guest needs and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Sell Banff Lodging Co.'s hotels, packages, products and services, identifying upsell opportunities.
• Make relevant recommendations using knowledge of Banff offerings.
• Process reservations, deposits, payments, confirmations and special requests accurately.
• Explain booking terms, cancellation policies and check-in information.
• Collaborate with Front Office, booking partners and wholesalers to meet guest needs.
• Maintain accurate reservation and guest information in systems.

• Sell BCP’s hotels, packages, products and services, identifying opportunities to upsell and enhance stays.
• Use your knowledge of BCP offerings and Banff to make relevant recommendations.
• Process reservations, deposits, payments, confirmations and special requests accurately.
• Explain booking terms, conditions, cancellation policies and check-in information.
• Work closely with Front Office, booking partners and wholesalers to ensure guest needs are met.
• Maintain accurate reservation and guest information in our systems.
