Job summary

Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts (CRMR) is seeking a Casual-Basis Reservations Agent at our Calgary Head Office. The role involves handling guest inquiries, creating and modifying reservations, and promoting accommodations and packages to support revenue objectives.

Working with Reservations and Revenue teams, you will ensure reservation accuracy and deliver exceptional guest service. Prior experience in reservations or hospitality is preferred, with familiarity of Opera Cloud and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Previous experience in reservations, hospitality, tourism, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Proficient organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience with reservation or property management systems is an asset; Opera Cloud.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest inquiries by telephone, email, and other channels in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
• Create, modify, and confirm reservations with accuracy (rates, room types, packages, requests).
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding accommodations, resort amenities, packages, and destinations.
• Promote room upgrades, packages, promotions, and guest experiences.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and guest communications; process updates and gift certificates.

We are a looking for a Casual-Basis Reservations Agent at our Calgary Head Office located at #202, 1329 1st St SW Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T2R 0W3

Shifts ranges from 1 to 3 shifts per week, preferably weekdays

Position Overview:

To provide exceptional guest servicethroughout the reservation process by delivering accurate information,responding to guest inquiries, and creating memorable first impressions ofCanadian Rocky Mountain Resorts (CRMR). Working collaboratively with the ReservationsSupervisor, Reservations Manager, and Revenue Department, the position supportsrevenue objectives by promoting appropriate accommodations, packages, andexperiences while ensuring reservation accuracy and operational excellence. TheReservations Agent contributes to a positive team environment throughprofessionalism, attention to detail, continuous learning, and a commitment toservice excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

GuestService & Reservations

• Respond to guest inquiries by telephone,email, and other communication channels in a professional, timely, andcourteous manner.
• Create, modify, and confirm reservations whileensuring accuracy of guest information, rates, room types, packages, andspecial requests.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendationsregarding accommodations, resort amenities, packages, services, and surroundingdestinations.
• Resolve routine guest inquiries and refercomplex concerns to the appropriate team member.

Sales& Revenue Support

• Promote room upgrades, packages, promotions,and guest experiences.
• Ensure reservations are entered accurately andin accordance with revenue strategies, policies, and booking guidelines.
• Assist with reservations-relatedadministrative and revenue support activities as assigned.

ReservationAccuracy & Administration

• Maintain accurate reservation records andguest communications.
• Process gift certificates, reservationupdates, and correspondence.
• Identify and communicate reservationdiscrepancies to the Reservations Supervisor.

TeamCollaboration & Communication

• Work collaboratively with Reservations, FrontOffice, Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
• Maintain professional communication withguests, travel agents, wholesale partners, and OTA partners.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative teamenvironment.

ContinuousImprovement

• Maintain current knowledge of CRMR properties,services, packages, promotions, procedures, and local attractions.
• Participate in training and continuousimprovement initiatives.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)and recommend process improvements.
• Pursue cross-training opportunities to broadenknowledge of reservations, revenue management, distribution, and hospitalityoperations while preparing for future career advancement within CRMR.

Skills & Experience

• Proficient organizational skills to handlemultiple priorities.
• Experience with reservation or propertymanagement systems is an asset; in particular Opera Cloud.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and generalcomputer systems.
• Ability to work independently andcollaboratively.
• Knowledge of the Canadian Rockies isconsidered an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
