Job summary

MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Repairs Planner to coordinate repairs for a social housing contractor on a temporary basis. You will manage operatives' diaries, schedule repairs, and act as the main contact for tenants, operatives, and contractors.

Strong organisational and customer service skills are essential. Experience in housing maintenance or related contractor environments is preferred, with proficiency in Excel and scheduling systems to keep works on time and accurately

Qualifications

• Experience in Repairs Planner, Scheduler or Maintenance Coordinator roles within housing maintenance.
• Strong organisational and workload management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple repairs and maintenance activities simultaneously.
• Construction or property maintenance knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain operatives' diaries and schedules.
• Plan and coordinate pre-inspections, post-inspections, reactive repairs, and emergency maintenance works.
• Prioritise emergency and urgent repair requests.
• Book appointments and allocate work to available operatives.
• Monitor jobs from initial booking through to completion.
• Ensure information and records are updated accurately and promptly.
• Liaise with tenants, operatives, and contractors to progress repairs.
• Attend team meetings and required training.
