Job summary

Accent Housing in Peterborough is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to deliver repairs and voids maintenance across properties in the patch. The role blends site visits and desk-based work, using knowledge of domestic building make‑up, HHSRS and rates to qualify repairs.

You’ll raise repairs in our bespoke housing system and keep customer accounts updated through completion. With a focus on adhering to Awaab’s Law, you will address damp and mould hazards promptly and ensure health-related repairs

Qualifications

• Customer-focused role in property maintenance and repairs.
• Experience using housing management software for repairs and voids.
• Strong communication and collaboration with contractors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver repairs and voids maintenance for properties in allocated patch.
• Visit customer homes to assess repairs needs and qualify repairs.
• Raise repairs in the housing management system and update customer accounts to completion.
• Uphold Empty Homes (Voids) standard to deliver quality homes promptly.
• Identify and address hazards such as damp and mould in line with health requirements.
• Collaborate with contractors and housing teams to improve service efficiency.
