Repair and Clean

We are currently seeking a Repair and Clean Person to support our Peterborough team.

Responsibilities:

1. This job involves cleaning and maintaining the facility using various manual and power equipment.
2. Responsible for minor preventative maintenance.
3. Manage the storage and cleaning of waste and hazardous materials used by manufacturing.
4. Work within a team environment to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, regulations, and legislation.
5. Work with ladders and other equipment at various heights to replace filters in the dust collection system.
6. Perform thorough cleaning of large vacuum ovens.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Grade 12 Technical diploma or equivalent.
2. Possess or successfully obtain forklift operator license and Level 1 crane operator license (> 15 tons).
3. Possess or successfully obtain Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate.
4. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
5. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Selected applicants will be tested and interviewed.

The starting hourly wage in Ontario is expected to be between $30.91 and $34.34. The final offer will depend on market conditions and the candidate's experience, knowledge, and skills. The total compensation may include benefits such as medical, retirement, and other perks, details of which will be provided upon job offer.
