The position requires basic reading, math, and computer skills, with attention to detail and strong manual dexterity. Aerospace background is preferred, and specific Holland College certifications are an asset.

Qualificações

• Minimum grade 12 required.
• Aerospace background preferred.
• Gas turbine / electromechanical / small engine repair training from Holland College preferred.
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident for security clearance (for Controlled Goods Program).

Responsabilidades

Position Summary: Technicians must verify incoming components and be familiar with all aspects governing the maintenance of aircraft components as per Transport Canada and the Federal Aviation Authority. Specific training on components will be provided.

Duties:

• Disassembly of aircraft components
• Cleaning of aircraft components
• Detailed measurement and inspection of parts
• Follow and understand manuals, drawings, service bulletins, flowcharts and other OEM data
• Assembly of components
• Troubleshoot aircraft components
• Lockwire of components
• Complete paperwork according to Quality Assurance Program
• Follow all aspects of quality system
• Participate in Six Sigma process improvement initiatives
• Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:
