Job summary

Leading Edge in Ontario, Canada, is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer / Inspector to perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs onsite.

The successful candidate will ensure airworthiness and safety by following approved procedures and Transport Canada regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating with maintenance teams. A TC AME licence and 2–5 years of relevant experience are required, with flexibility for shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid Transport Canada AME licence appropriate to the aircraft category.
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, regulations, and technical manuals.
• Experience troubleshooting aircraft mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, drawings, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Inspect aircraft structures, engines, systems, and components for defects or wear.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics-related issues.
• Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with approved manuals, procedures, and safety standards.
• Conduct functional checks and support aircraft testing following maintenance activities.
• Identify and report defects and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations, company procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to meet aircraft availability targets.
• Support audits, quality inspections, and continuous safety improvement initiatives.
