Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Transport Canada–approved aviation maintenance program is highly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft systems, mechanics, and maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopter components, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing.
  • Overhaul, repair, modify, inspect, and test helicopter components using applicable maintenance manuals and instructions.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are properly documented and completed in accordance with OEM, company, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct inspections to identify defects, corrosion, wear, or damage and ensure component airworthiness before release.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Properly select, use, maintain, and store tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations and Heli-One Approved Maintenance Organization requirements.

Job description

Role Summary

Component Shop Technician – Delta, British Columbia. Full-time, Permanent.

In this role, you will overhaul, repair, modify, inspect, and test helicopter components, including gearboxes, main and tail rotor systems, and landing gear, while ensuring all work is completed in accordance with approved maintenance manuals, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopter components, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing.
  • Overhaul, repair, modify, inspect, and test helicopter components using applicable maintenance manuals and instructions.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are properly documented and completed in accordance with OEM, company, and regulatory standards.

  • Strong working knowledge of computer applications.
  • Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain clearance under the Controlled Goods Program.
