AAA Canada Inc. is seeking an MRO Technician in Laval to repair and overhaul aircraft components per manuals, ensuring safety and quality. A hands-on role involves reading technical instructions, identifying required parts, and documenting work for compliance.

The ideal candidate has a college diploma in aircraft maintenance or equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience, with proficiency in SRMs and MMTs on composite or sheet metal structures. French is mandatory; English is an asset.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in aerospace maintenance.
• Experience with SRMs and MMTs on composite/metal structures.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul airframe components per manuals (SRM, CMM, AMM).
• Read and interpret technical manuals and work instructions precisely.
• Follow M1 manuals, policies, and procedures for safety and quality.
• Inspect parts for damage and discrepancies.
• Identify parts, materials, and hardware needed for repairs.
• Report non-conformities to quality and handle disposition.
• Collaborate with team to complete units on schedule.
• Document inspections, materials used, and sign off work.
• Model safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul airframe components in accordance with technical manuals (SRM, CMM, AMM, etc.);
• Meticulously read and interpret technical manuals and work instructions;
• Follow M1 manuals, policies, and procedures to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance;
• Inspect parts for damage and discrepancies;
• Identify parts, raw materials, and hardware required to perform repairs;
• Report all non-conformities to the quality department and ensure proper disposition;
• Work closely with colleagues, team leader, and supervisor to ensure units are completed on time according to the schedule;
• Document the completion of inspections and tasks, materials and equipment used, and sign/stamp all your work;
• Be a role model for safety and cleanliness in your work area.

Profile

• College diploma in aircraft maintenance or equivalent;
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience;
• Experience working with SRMs and MMTs on composite and/or sheet metal structures;
