Job summary

Toronto United Church Council seeks a Rentals Manager to grow and manage TUCC's rental and tenancy business in Toronto, delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will lead business development, marketing, events, and account management, collaborating with the Director of Property Services to maximize occupancy and revenue.

The role is on-site at 49 Bogert Avenue, Toronto, with a September/October 2026 start date and requires flexibility for events outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in business development, sales, special events, property management, hospitality, or related field.
• Post-secondary education in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Proven success in generating revenue and achieving sales or rental targets.
• Experience negotiating leases or rental agreements.
• Strong relationship management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience managing budgets and staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
• Experience with CRM, booking, property management, or rental management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute rental revenue growth strategies.
• Manage event rentals from inquiry to booking.
• Maintain tenant relationships and renewals.
• Oversee financial performance, budgets, and variance reporting.
• Coordinate with TUCC team and Directors.
• Ensure compliance and high-quality client service.
