Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented Rental Coordinator to support daily branch operations in Calgary. You will be the main contact for customer inquiries, rentals, and logistics coordination, ensuring accuracy and a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in construction industry, customer service, or a related field.
• Experience in the equipment rental industry is a definite asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in business/administration or logistics is an asset.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and rental fleet operations is an asset.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to interact professionally with customers, drivers, and service staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries and process contracts with accuracy and professionalism.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and pickups by dispatching drivers and communicating timelines clearly.
• Collaborate with the Service Department to address repairs, maintenance scheduling, and fleet availability.
• Maintain inventory records and reconcile updates for strong inventory control.
• Manage rental documentation including cycle billing, contract filing, open-order reports, and equipment exchanges.
• Use Systematic Rental Management system effectively and accurately.
• Communicate with teammates to understand equipment availability and ensure rental readiness.
• Follow SOPs to ensure consistency, compliance and efficiency in branch processes.
