Job summary

Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented Rental Coordinator to support branch operations in Timmins. You will be the main contact for customer inquiries, equipment rentals, and logistics coordination, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

The role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with service, shop, and yard teams to keep equipment rental-ready.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in construction, customer service, or related field.
• Experience in equipment rental is an asset.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and parts/service procedures is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer and sales inquiries with rental solutions and contracts.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and pickups with drivers, communicating timelines clearly.
• Collaborate with Service Department for repairs, maintenance scheduling, and fleet availability.
• Maintain accurate inventory and daily updates for inventory control.
• Manage rental documentation: Cycle billing, contracts, open-order reports, exchanges.
• Use Systematics or similar software accurately for daily tasks.
• Communicate with shop and yard teams to ensure equipment is rental ready.
• Resolve customer issues with internal teams to maintain service quality.
• Follow SOPs to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency in branch processes.
• Assist with parts ordering, receiving, stocking, transfer, and delivery for timely repairs.
