Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Proposal Engineer – Renewables in Canada to lead and coordinate the proposal process from intake to final submission. You will develop compliant, persuasive content and assist with cost estimates, working with Sales, Technical Services, Field Services, and Project Management to align client objectives with solution detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2-6 years in proposal development, PM, technical writing, estimating support.
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate technical info.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholder inputs.
• Permanent authorization to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead Renewables proposal efforts from intake to submission.
• Review RFPs and client requirements to identify gaps and needs.
• Develop proposal documents and related sales materials using templates.
• Research, write, edit, and organize proposal content for compliance.
• Prepare PDP, manage assignments, and coordinate proposal development.
• Develop project cost estimates with inputs from technical teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and project delivery on technical approaches.
• Coordinate with Sales, Legal, Safety, and other stakeholders.
• Review technical requirements and identify risks and execution considerations.
• Facilitate kickoff and progress reviews; manage proposal tracking and submissions.
• Maintain proposal collaboration tools and data; support closeout and reuse.
