Renewable Careers in Toronto is seeking an entry-level engineer to help build Canada's clean energy future. You will learn from experienced engineers while taking on real responsibility from day one, supporting solar, wind and battery storage projects.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in engineering and show strong analytical skills, data comfort, and clear communication. Hybrid work from our Toronto office and a structured development path are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort with data and spreadsheets.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical topics simply.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind and BESS projects.
• Prepare energy production estimates, site evaluations and technical due diligence.
• Assist with grid connection applications and协调 with utilities and system operators, incl. IESO processes.
• Review technical submittals from EPC contractors, consultants and equipment vendors.
• Support construction and commissioning with travel to project sites across Canada.
• Analyze performance data from operating assets and suggest improvements.
• Contribute to tools, templates and standards used by the engineering team.

We are a clean energy company that develops, builds, owns and operates renewable projects across Canada. Our growing portfolio spans utility-scale solar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS), and as a long-term owner we stay with every project from the first feasibility study through years of operation. We are expanding our Toronto team and looking for an entry-level engineer who wants to help build Canada's clean energy future.

What you will do

• You will support engineering across our project pipeline, learning from experienced engineers while taking on real responsibility from the start. Your work will include:
• Supporting engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind and BESS projects at every stage
• Preparing energy production estimates, site evaluations and technical due diligence
• Assisting with grid connection applications and coordination with utilities and system operators, including IESO processes
• Reviewing technical submittals from EPC contractors, consultants and equipment vendors
• Supporting construction and commissioning, with travel to project sites across Canada
• Analyzing performance data from operating assets and recommending improvements
• Contributing to the tools, templates and standards our engineering team runs on

What we are looking for

• A bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
• A demonstrated interest in renewable energy and the clean energy transition
• Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data and spreadsheets
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to make technical topics simple
• Initiative and curiosity: you take ownership, ask good questions and learn quickly
• Eligibility to work in Canada
• Internship, co-op or project experience in energy is an asset but not required. Registration or intent to register as an EIT (Engineer in Training) is also an asset. We hire for aptitude and attitude, and we invest in developing our engineers.
