Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Relief Full Time Registered Nurse in Renal Services at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. The RN will provide direct patient care in nephrology, participate in care planning, and collaborate with an inter-professional team.

Applicants should have BC RN licensure and post-graduate nephrology-related education or interest in specialty education; Fraser Health offers in-house sponsorship for specialty education.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Two years' recent, related clinical nursing experience in designated clinical area.

Responsabilidades

• Performs comprehensive nursing assessments on admission and at intervals.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians and care team on care plans.
• Coordinates care, assigns/delegates tasks, and makes referrals per protocols.
• Educates patients and families on illness prevention, health restoration and health maintenance.
• Documents assessments, diagnoses, interventions and outcomes per Fraser Health standards.
• Teaches and mentors staff and participates in quality improvement activities.
